The Sickle(TM) brand of hook is red hot in the Pacific Northwest and Spirit River has it in the Black Nickel Octopus style for use on any Strung Out pattern. The advantage is once fish are hooked they get locked on. Many more fish are landed on the sickle style hook over other bend styles.
