Missouri River Fishing Report July 11, 2008
July 11, 2008
The Big Flush is over. The flow out of Holter Dam has dropped from 11,200 CFS to 7,480 CFS over the last two days: Missouri River Flow Below Holter Dam . The Reservoir Active Conservation Pool is 100.0 % Full and the Reservoir Flood/Surcharge Control Pool is 18.3 % Full. The fishing on the Mo, especially the dry fly fishing, is busting loose. The good times are finally here.
Recommended Flies
Dan has not fished The Mo recently. The dry fly fishing is really picking up, with caddis, PMDs, little yellow sallies, and brown drakes coming off. Deep nymphing will continue to bring excellent results.
